Sawdust is a beautiful website that I bumped into about a year ago and it's got some pretty inspirational works. The UI is very minimalistic and that is something that I enjoy in a website. The puzzle-like way that images are displayed is another plus. The only thing that i would change is the header text that scrolls down with you at the top centr of the screen, it might be better if a button popped up instead on the left or right hand side that took you back to the top of the page.
The website is flickr but I linked this specific profile because I admire it. The photography is amazing and I would like to go to Japan. I like flickr's website because it is incredibly simple and straight forward.
It's starting to become obvious that I like photography. Northlandscapes has a very simple website with a good use of text and photography. Its simplistic design draws me in to the beautiful northern landscapes. I also appreciate that it's mobile friendly.
Amazing art works that I don't aspire to work towards, I just like to look at. The website is as simple as it can be, nothing flashy but the art works as it should be. The only thing that i would watch out for is orphan works. Meaning, don't place a single photo is a whole row because it just looks awkward.
Nina's website does't really compare to the previous ones. It's simple in a way that it feels like there are things missing. Two reason of why she's here: One is the gif or whatever it might be. I like it a lot. Two is her work, they are on dribbble and they are amazing.
